Hello, my name is Miss Suzy. I am a British trained primary school teacher living and working in Australia with 19 years experience working in both countries. Over the years I have worked with a huge number of kids and their families, I love seeing the growth and development and one way this happens is by me building a relationship with the families as much as the children.
I am passionate in offering my advice and knowledge to parents, both as a teacher and as a parent myself as they enter the world of education for their child. Often this can be a very different world from what the family may have experienced from when they themselves went to school.
The basics of schooling are still as they always have been, however the methods of learning and communication have dramatically changed over time. This is where I aim to bridge the gap in terms of understanding how teaching takes place, how kids learn and how parents can best support the development and personal growth of their child.
