🚀 Launching VirtCrafter Core: The One-Command Linux VM for Everyone!
I'm incredibly excited to share a project I've been building just for you and the wider open-source community: VirtCrafter Core. If you've ever tried to set up a Linux virtual machine for learning, testing, or development, you know the drill: download a large ISO, click through a dozen installation screens, set up users and passwords, and configure the network. It's a time-consuming process, especially when you just need a clean, ready-to-go system, VirtCrafter Core eliminates all of that. It's a simple, open-source tool that automates the entire installation of a Rocky Linux 9.6 virtual machine. Just run one command, wait a few minutes, and you have a fully configured VM. Why this is a game-changer: - Zero Input Required: No menus, no passwords to type during setup. It's all pre-configured for you. - Built on Standards: Uses libvirt and virt-install – the reliable, standard tools for KVM virtualization. - Perfect for Learning & Labs: Ideal for students, DevOps engineers, instructors, and anyone who needs a quick, disposable Linux environment. - You Own It: It's 100% open-source (GPL v3.0). No licenses, no tracking, no strings. This tool is my love letter to the open-source community, designed to make technology more accessible. Your support makes a difference.Creating and maintaining tools like VirtCrafter Core takes time and effort. If you find it useful, please consider supporting my work on Patreon. Your support helps me dedicate more time to creating free, high-quality software for everyone. ➡️ Get the code on GitHub: VirtCrafterCore Try it out, star the repo if you like it, and let me know what you think! What other automation pain points should we solve next? With gratitude,

Question About Your DevOps Work Status💯
@Michael Sanderson Hey bro! I am going through the Linux commands course! And your explanation is very clear and amazing🙌 Just wanted to know if you are currently working as a full time devops engineer or a full time devops freelancer?
New to Linux
Hi everyone, I just switched over to Zorin OS as my first stop into the linux ecosystem. I joined this community to get a better understanding of how the linux infrastructure works and to start developing my DevOps skills.
PASSWORDLESS SWITCHING TO ROOT
Tired of typing password everytime you witch to root? Enable passwordless switching to root. Just type following: sudo echo "(username) ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD:ALL" | tee - a /etc/sudoers.d/(username) And now, when you will type sudo -i It goes smooth to root without asking for password.
