If you've ever watched a Korean drama, you've seen it: it's 10pm, and someone is eating ramen or fried chicken alone in their apartment.
This isn't just a drama thing. It's real.
Korea has one of the most active late-night food cultures in the world β 24-hour convenience stores, late-night delivery, dawn delivery (μλ²½ λ°°μ‘). The phrase "ya-shik" (μΌμ) literally means "night food" and it's a whole culture.
