When unverified leaks suggest a new deal involving the IRGC and Persian Gulf Arab states, it is entirely natural to feel anxious or even betrayed. However, we cannot let these emotions cloud our geopolitical judgment.
Regardless of what happens next, we must recognize the monumental shifts that have already occurred. The United States achieved what millions of us could not do alone by eliminating Qasem Soleimani and Ali Khamenei. Because of these decisive strikes, the Islamic regime is more fractured and weaker than it has ever been.
