I recently enlisted the guidance of a metabolic health focused coach who EMPOWERS clients that struggle to reach their desired body composition after diet, exercise and traditional approaches fail again and again. During my next set of blood draws, I would appreciate your office request from your lab, the following values that are key indicators of metabolic wellbeing. π²DHEA sulfate test π²Serum Cortisol π²Vitamin D π²Magnesium π²Calcium π²Zinc π²Iron π²Fasted Glucose and/or Hemoglobin A1c (βHbA1cβ or just βA1cβ) π²HDL (good) and LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides π²C-reactive protein (CRP) - inflammatory markers π²TSH test for Free T3 & T4 hormones, thyroid antibodies including TPO (thyroid procitis) and anti-thyroid anti-globulin bodies, ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) Based on the lab values, my coach and I will be more informed to adjust my meal plan, nutrition and hormone balancing to help me reach my health and fitness goals and to achieve optimal metabolic health. I realize that some of these test are not the standard for your office.
