LLC registration: 1) DIY, or 2) Registered Agent service, or 3) Hire Attorney?
You want to form (another?) single member LLC with S-corp tax election. This time, you are concerned about privacy, keeping your home address, and phone number off public records. Pick one of the three options below. Provide a reason for your choice if you can:
1) Do it yourself. State fees around $100 + new business address, phone#, and mail forwarding service costs.
2) Use an online business formation service that includes a registered agent. Price Varies from $150 - $300 first year set up + recurring expenses each year after.
3) Just hire an attorney for almost everything in #2. I've seen $1000 - $2500 initial setup + recurring expenses in #2.
