If I was Dying Tomorrow
If I knew I was going to die tomorrow, I wouldn’t leave my son money. I’d leave him this. 👇 I went to school, got a job with little or zero security, and did everything society told me I was supposed to do. I worked out, woke up at 5am, read books, worked like a sled dog, and still wasn't enough for a company with bad management that sent us under. I trusted "advisors" on where to put my money and still lost it. I learned the hard way how to trust the wrong people and got burned. I struggled to gain material things and provide for my family. Son, you can do all the of the "right" things society wants you to do and still fail. You can fail at what you DON'T want in life. So go for what you do want. Don't go for the gold of the world, go for the gold of the heart. Serve others endlessly, love your brothers, be compassionate, and give without expecting anything in return. Surround yourself with good, virtuous men who uplift and inspire you in every way, banter aside. You're the sum of the 5 people you hang out with the most, so choose wisely. You can only grow to what you're exposed to, so open your mind to new ideas and possibilities, and change the world for the better. Give respect to people based on the fact that they are humans, that way you can treat everyone equally, from the waitress to the president. Own your time, never sell it, but if you do have to sell it, don't sell it cheap. If you are going to give your time, give it well. Jesus is real, I've met him before and I'll hopefully see him again tomorrow. Don't be afraid to give your life to Him completely. Keep the faith and persevere. Find a woman like your mother, loving, compassionate, virtuous. A true timeless classic. Be masculine enough for her to be comfortable in her femininity and serve your family without limits on love. Being a man is about sacrifice, and there isn't enough of that in the world of men today. Remember then boys take, men give. Be a giver. Do everything with the utmost integrity that you can possibly muster, there are no shortcuts.

If I was Dying Tomorrow
I used to make High End Leather products...as a hobby.
What I learned about life and business from working with leather... 1.) Skills shouldn't be rushed; good things take time. 2.) You will suck at first, so did Mozart, keep going. 3.) Don't compare your work to someone else's...their aptitude may be higher than yours, but that doesn't make you less skilled because they learned it faster. 4.) Going slowly, attention to detail, and willingness to screw up create heirloom quality products that sell for 10-20x more than mass produced crap. I used to charge $500 for an heirloom quality sheath. 5.) Using hand tools is cathartic and stress relieving. Take the time to get good at something that you can do with your hands. Creating recurring income that handles your monthly nut and them some gives you the freedom to pursue things you enjoy for active income.

St. Joseph's Feast Day
St. Joseph, the earthly father of our Lord, wasn't just a regular man. St. Joseph was chosen by God to raise Jesus in love and virtue. Tomorrow, 2 hours from now, is his feast day. You don't have to be Catholic or Orthodox to admire the man for who he was, and what he did for our Lord and our Blessed Mother. He was chosen for his love of God and of his own virtue. He was just, righteous, and entrusted by God to raise His only Son. St. Joseph was a man of great character, and masculine to his core. He was a carpenter, worked with his hands, built things that lasted. Boys take, men give. St. Joseph was a giver. He did 2 major things. He loved people, and did whatever God told him to do. Thank you St. Joseph for your example. Just like we can ask our friends to pray for us, God is the god of the LIVING, and St. Joseph is alive in Heaven. St. Joseph, pray for us!
Self Discipline is KEY
Module 3, Lesson 6 is probably one of the most important lessons by far, and I believe from all in the entire course for me. I personally hurt the most by resisting structure, as it leads to consistent failure instead of the consistency that will bring the success! The lack of complete discipline will always be on the way unless we fight it. Then everything will fall in to it's place! Great lesson and reminder!
