Learning to Sit With It is a quiet, trauma-informed space for people with complex nervous systems — including trauma, sensory differences, misophonia, and chronic stress.
This space is guided by Dawn Rabideau, a trauma-informed bodyworker and nervous-system educator with lived and professional experience in gentle, non-coercive regulation.
This space is educational and supportive in nature and does not replace therapy, medical care, or crisis services.
This is not a fixing space.
Not a productivity space.
Not a place that asks you to override your body or rush toward resolution.
Here, we practice slowing down enough to notice what’s present — in the body, nervous system, thought, emotion, sound, and sensation.
Much of healing happens not through effort, but through recognizing and staying.
For some, this space is enough. For others, it is a doorway deeper.
