It's a bit later on Tuesday - but it's still Tuesday :) My first Tech Tuesday video is out. The idea is to share some of the tech that I have (or that is sent to me) and how it can be used with intention in learning, teaching, and becoming more productive. The Bigme B7 Color Tablet was sent to me and I was worried at first. It was a little challenging to get used to, was slightly slower than I thought it would be, and I was trying to figure out where it fit. Then - everything changed. I became familiar with it and it's starting to deliver more and more value - all in one reader.

Yesterday, I created a new YouTube video on Learning Environments and some of my "classroom in a bag" technology that I can use to create a classroom anywhere. The timing is perfect because today in the Coffee Chat, we briefly talked about classrooms and their role in education. I haven't made the video public yet - here is the link to the unlisted video. My Skool learning curve is starting to kick in as I get more comfortable with the features and possibilities of what we can build here. One of those things are LiveStreams. A place to meet-up and discuss Educational Technology (and possibly host some classes in the future. For now, I am linking the Skool schedule to my YouTube channel - and public Livestreams there. Eventually, I can see these being Unlisted LiveStreams for topics that I would like to keep exclusive to this community. Interested in this process? Well... Check out the calendar! I did a test LiveStream yesterday and will be doing one today on... Skool itself and my experiences so far. That should show on the schedule soon.

What is this odd section of the community? This is the “backstage” area - a place to share ideas not on Educational Technology, but on the community and Skool itself. Maybe my hope is that those joining this community also join other communities - or even start ones of their own where they can build something for themselves. I’m transparent on most everything I do - and I don’t want this journey on Skool to be any different. As I learn new things, have ideas about the process of building this community, or any other “backstage” ideas - this is where they will be. Feel free to contribute your own ideas as well!
