Hello to my new members .Im beyond excited to form a community and create fun and engaging content that we can view , interact and grow together . Whilst i’m working creating content in the background, let’s break the ice ! I’d love for you to share your story about WHY you chose Early childhood education . So here is mine : Growing up in a Christian home, I started teaching five-year-olds Sunday School at just 15 and apparently once you can manage glitter and snack time, you’re trusted with children for life.😝 I later worked in banking and fitness, but no matter where I was, small children always seemed to find me. Shopping centres, family outings, even fancy hotels… somehow I’d always end up entertaining a group of 2–5 year olds . My background in theatre performance definitely helped, and honestly, ABC Playschool was my dream job growing up. Singing, dancing, storytelling, and using imagination have always come naturally to me.Look out because you are going to see me being 💯 percent out there in my videos . Once I learned how important the formative years are for brain development, I became passionate about early childhood education. I love seeing children grow in confidence, celebrating their little wins, and creating an environment where learning feels fun, playful and productive , because most days, it genuinely doesn’t feel like work at all. . It’s ALWAYS my first choice to build trust , and a safe supported relationship with a child whom i am caring for and educating . I will always begin by inviting them to sit near me or gently approaching them, providing a safe and welcoming presence in their play. What are your favourite strategies ?
