We will be learning from the Abeka Handbook for Learning. We will start with phonetic sounds and go all the through to reading basic short stories. I have taught my own children to read with this simple lesson plan and allowed to learn how fun this journey to reading can be. I hope you will join me as we start from the basic seeds of letter sounds and eventually bloom into beautiful readers.
