Twin boys with level 1 autism
Hi. Im a mom to twin 5 year old boys. Our boys were diagnosed at age 3.
The boys love being outdoors and learning about animals. Dinosaurs and dragons are everywhere in this house. Overall they're happy little guys who want nothing more than to play with other kids.
The boys will be going into general education kindergarten in August. We are incredibly nervous and excited. Currently, the boys are in OT for sensory integration and working on fine motor skills. We are still trying to find a PT that will help with tippy toe walking.
We tried ABA at 3.5 and it was not a good experience. Would like to try again but im dreading the process.
The boys are struggling with social interaction and being able to keep up with conversation.
