Welcome! You don’t need your coaching niche figured out to get started here. We’ll help you explore where your experience could be useful, then practice the skills to guide a productive coaching session. 👇 Introduce yourself in the comments: 1️⃣ What name do you go by? 2️⃣ What work, life experience, or skills could you draw on? 3️⃣ What do people already ask you for help with? 4️⃣ Are you exploring coaching, preparing for your first client, or already coaching? If you’re unsure what to coach, say so. That’s a starting point—not a problem. 🎯 Your first exercise: List three things you’ve helped someone understand, improve, or work through. They don’t have to become your niche. We’re looking for possibilities worth exploring. Check the Calendar for upcoming live practice sessions as they’re scheduled. Bring your questions, respect each other, and keep client information private. Glad you’re here! — Coach Mitch

A Client Gives You a One-Word Answer. What Do You Do Next?
🔴 You're coaching a client and ask: “What do you think is holding you back?” The client looks at you and says: “Nothing.” Now what? Do you ask another question? Sit in silence? Challenge the answer? Change direction? If you were the coach, what would you say next?

Why I Built “Learn How to Actually Coach”
When I first started coaching, I knew my subject — but knowing your subject and knowing how to coach another human being are two very different things. I had to learn by actually doing it. How do you start a session? When do you listen? When do you challenge someone? How do you know when you're talking too much? What happens when your client gives you nothing to work with? Over time, I learned what works — and I made plenty of mistakes along the way. I created this community for people who already have knowledge or experience they want to share with others but are thinking: “Okay... but how do I actually coach somebody?” That's what we're going to learn here. ➡️ Welcome. Introduce yourself and tell us what you want to coach.
