Are websites relevant in 2026?
This is a question I hear often. The answer is (surprise!) a resounding yes. The web has, it is true, largely devolved into "walled gardens" such as social media sites etc; but you know the thing with being in someone else's walled garden is: You get to hang out in a cool place and communicate with other people there and everything - but someone else holds the key - and can either make you sit by yourself in the corner as long as.they like (and usually not even tell you why) or just throw you out of the garden completely. Your website shouldn't be the only place you do stuff, present yourself, or are active online - but it's still vital to have this hub where: - you hold the keys - where you can present yourself as you wish - where you can display and sell your products without giving someone else a big percentage of the sale - where you own your customer relationship; - and where you can sign people up to your email newsletter (old fashioned, but still the most reliable and strongest way of maintaining a customer/client/user relationship). And that's what this community is all about: this section of the web. How to turn your website from an online calling card (that likely few people visit) to the most vital - and most financially rewarding - part of your online presence. When you sign up you get a free (text-based) chatbot: built for you by yours truly, where you can not only communicate with visitors to your site but also point them to the page they're looking for, sign them up to an email newsletter, set up an online meet to discuss things further. We also talk about, discuss, and show you how to use: - audio chatbots - SEO + GEO - How to get found in our new AI-search-dominated world - How to really use blog posts to position yourself as an expert - How to keep your site humming - How to make Google happy with you and your site - and to keep on pointing people your way.. - Google Analytics - Google Ads - Google Search Console - Funnel Builders - ...and there's more. But that's enough to be going on with :)
