Meine Mama was QUITE the collector… both in Germany and in America.

Every single book she owned? Full of vierblättrige Kleeblätter—four-leaf clovers of all sizes. She would press them gently between the pages, like little treasures just waiting to be discovered years later.

SIE HATTE EINEN BLICK DAFÜR.

She just had an EYE for them.

Walking through the grass, she'd suddenly stop, bend down, and there it was… a tiny miracle hiding in all that green. She didn't even have to search. The clovers just found her.

I think that's what Durchhaltevermögen and Gelassenheitlook like—noticing the small blessings right in front of you, staying calm, and trusting you'll find what you need.

She wasn't just collecting clover. She was collecting little signs of hope.

And now, every time I see one? I smile and whisper:
