How 1 day can change the course of a person’s life
Its 8:43am
A young small boy with a green backpack, bright blue eyes, short blonde hair is running to school hoping that his 3rd grade teacher doesn’t scold him
As he approaches the front door to the school he can feel his pulse accelerating
This day will the course of his his life.... forever
This morning, he was helping his mom, because dad was at work and mom just gave birth to a beautiful little baby girl.
As he runs up the stairs to the second floor and approaches his class he can hear his heart pounding, his cortisol spikes.
He opens the door, and then it starts…
For 5 minutes in a row he gets yelled at and scolded ferociously
As he sits down he can feel his whole body tighten up, his throat, his mind, its all in pain
He doesn’t understand what’s going on so he goes and sits down, crying at the back off his class
But he can’t
Because of that incident for the next 5 years that young boy has a stuttering disorder,
He couldn’t speak normally, he couldn’t share his ideas, his feelings
His family did support him though, took him to speech doctors, and helped him as much as possible
But the boy still stuttered
And then one day he discovered something crazy…
An article on Neuroscience, He fell in love with it, little did he know that his father was a language professor for 30+ Years and he would learn EVERYTHING he could about language learning and neuroscience
And from that day he started his language journey with a goal - Create the best language learning product on the Planet
That boy was me Kai
And in the past 5 years I have learned more than 7 languages and helped dozens of people become fluent in their target language in 4-6 months
