Greetings from Washington DC. I'm a Liberian (we speak English ๐) who has lived in several different countries and dabbled in several languages. I studied French in school, so it's the only other language I can have a conversation in ๐
(Fun fact: I can read Arabic names)
Just watched on Goals & Strategy, and loved his tips... Here's my Goal: Be able to have a basic conversation in Spanish by the time we go on our Puerto Rico vacation in July 2026.
Here's my Strategy for the first 2 months: study 3 hours a week by listening to Spanish lessons for kids on YouTube, building vocabulary on Duolingo, and joining any Spanish lesson in this skool. I'm at a complete Zero with Spanish so not sure if it's time yet for a practice/accountability partner.
