Just wrapped a demo I've been looking forward to for weeks. Over the past couple of months I've been building an automation system for a small clothing retailer that takes the most tedious part of their week, manually typing vendor invoices into product spreadsheets line by line, and turns it into something that takes minutes instead of hours.
The idea is simple even if the plumbing underneath isn't. Snap a photo of an invoice or drop in a PDF, and the system reads it, applies the store's own rules for how products get categorized and labeled, and hands back a clean, ready-to-upload file. No more squinting at line items, no more retyping the same product three different ways, no more hunting down errors after they've already made it into the system.
We were able to align on cost and next steps forward as well. The agreed upon price is in line with the recommended value of a custom GPT. I’ll finish celebrating once payment is received, but I’m thankful we aligned on everything.
Grateful for clients willing to try something new, and even more grateful when the vision and the numbers line up the way they did today. On to the next phase!
