My Solo Campervan Trip (No Q&As!)

Hi all,

I'm taking 2 weeks off work. In this time I'm hooning across Turkey on a solo campervan trip for 11 days, then heading to the Amalfi Coast before going home to NZ.

I'm filming a little vlog so you all can see what I got up to when that comes out.

When you spend so long working on your business and grinding towards your goals it's easy to forget why we're doing it in the first place: to live a happy and fulfilling life.

For me an important step in doing this is to stop and smell the roses from time to time. Enjoying the freedom that this incredible career has given me. To not be restricted by location or money and be able to do trips like this.

To me taking time off like this is also essential to my long term success and career.

Making room to get out of your comfort zone from time to time allows you to not fall into the same patterns that every other entrepreneurbro exists in. The same places, the same experiences, the same dress style, the same values and opinions, the same books, the same podcasts etc.

In my experience the risk lies not in being different, but in blending in.

Being different is a superpower in the digital age, because no-one pays attention to the carbon copy of 10,000 others who are on the same script and life.

So seek out weird books, experiences and conversations. These are unique inputs that will make your perspective fresh and allow you to stand out in a sea full of sameness.

Of course I couldn't do it without my incredible team, who keep things running like clockwork while I'm gone.

Keep grinding, I promise you it's worth it.
