Why You Can't Focus
Here’s why you can’t focus ⬇️
You don’t take enough breaks.
You try to grind through the day, and your performance slowly dwindles until you’re making almost no progress.
When you do this, your mind meanders and you get scattered. You do 20 different things with the scattered energy of a squirrel on crack.
You spin yourself around in circles and your only results are exhaustion.
Here’s what to do instead:
Set a timer for 30 minutes and focus 100% on one task.
Then take a break.
Do that just a few times and you’ll get more done in 2 hours than you would’ve in 8 hours of half-focused slogging.
