Capability Statements, How Prepared Are We?
Most businesses talk about wanting bigger opportunities, but very few actually take time to build the one document that clearly communicates who they are and what they can deliver — a capability statement. In government contracting, this document is treated almost like a business passport. But even outside government work, it forces you to understand your strengths, your past performance, your unique value, and what makes you worth trusting. So here’s a question for the community: If you had to hand a potential client a one-page summary of why they should work with you, what key points would you include? I’m curious to hear everyone’s thoughts. Let’s share ideas, someone else’s structure may inspire yours.
