I was talking to a leader recently who said:
“My team is working hard… but everything still comes back to me.”
After listening for over 15 minutes there was a moment it clicked.
Nothing was broken.
But nothing was truly moving without them either.
Every decision had a checkpoint.
And that checkpoint was them.
Over time, that creates:
• Slower execution
• Repeated conversations
• Quiet frustration on both sides
The fix wasn’t more effort.
It was redesigning how decisions get made.
👉🏽 Curious—as we start a new week, what still “needs your final say” more than it should?
