My 2026 Leadership Theme: Paradoxical Performance
Weekly rotate between the themes Faith, Self, Social, Finance. Can even try it out daily. - FOCUS - Am I focused on the few foundational things that matter? e.g. sleep, energy, environment, respecting time constraints - FLOOR - Am I protecting my downside with regular proactive practices? e.g. regulation, recovery, risk management, redundancy - FLOW TO FLOURISH - Am I removing friction to allow the different areas of my life to flow together well on a weekly basis? e.g. creating systems, getting support - FRUITFUL - Am I seeing tangible fruits from my efforts on the above? ONE METRIC THAT MATTERS MOST: ✦ For my business development (Beauty of Habits): All green squares on Skool ✦ For my leadership development (Leadership Experiments Library): 10 hr/wk time constraint

2025 Recap: Experiments & Explosions
I gave myself full reign to explore and experiment to the moon and back in 2025...and it exceeded my expectations in both the best and the worst ways. I planned for a rollercoaster ride, but it turned into a runaway rocket experience with multiple explosions along the way. I now have a greater appreciation for "risk management" to say the least. My Top 5 Takeaways: - My 2025 strategy was to "fail forward" and to use "failure as fertiliser" - happy to report that I fully immersed myself into it. For example, I was the only person to take up Anne-Laure Le Cunff on her offer to grab a 1 hour long chat with her during her book launch (Tiny Experiments) even though there were so many unexpected challenges. - Simplicity in business requires SO much sophistication!!! I've deleted/deferred 80% of the things I tried in 2025. Only taking 20% of the golden parts into 2026. I'm super grateful to my naive self who whole-heartedly and courageously committed to exploring every gut feeling that came her way until it was too late...the diamonds were mined, but the damage was also done. - As you can imagine, I'm now going into 2026 much more cautious and conservative! Time to exploit the simple and safe (hopefully also supernova?) path in front of me. Yes, this means figuring out this "risk management" stuff, so that my personal life (specifically faith and health) does not take a huge hit at the expense of my professional adventures. Goals must come with gaurdrails in 2026. - In 2025, I was ultimately on a search for vibrant and vivid visions which complemented each other in my career. Moving forward in 2026, it looks like I will be focusing more on creating and sustaining vitality in every area of my life and work. So many thoughts and feelings are hitting me all at once right now, so I'll come back later to complete this post more concisely.

Why is Trust Such A Transformational Currency in the 21st Century?
𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸: Choose Trust – Building Relationships for Business Success 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀: Stuart Maister, Kevin Vaughan-Smith 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱: 16 January 2025 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: A compelling, highly readable guide that reveals how and why building trusting relationships at work offers a competitive edge. Trust is the basis of all relationships—at work and beyond. We naturally want to bond with others with whom we can relate and on whom we can rely—and vice versa. That's why creating meaningful working relationships by trusting and being trustworthy adds value. Whether you're leading a team, building partnerships, selling, or collaborating, it's trust that makes the difference. By harnessing the three elements of the authors' Trust Triangle—clarity, character, and capability—this book shows you how to do so. It gives you the tools to be intentional about building trust so that you and your organization are positioned for success. 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀: “Unlike so many books on this subject, Choose Trust looks at the challenges and opportunities of trust from multiple angles: personal and organisational trust, trusting and being trusted, collaboration as a team and being a high-trust leader, together with both the emotional and rational dimensions. The book offers practical, real-world insights to transform the way you operate at work. This is not about the theory but about the practice of giving and receiving trust whatever your role.” – Charles H. Green “If ‘beating the competition’ drove business in the 20th century, it is surely collaboration that is driving the 21st century. How to win was clear in the 20th century, but how do you ‘win’ at collaboration? Answer? Trust; one of the most complex onesyllable words in the English language. Thankfully Stuart and Kevin have written an excellent guide to help you navigate those waters. Trust – easy to say, not so easy to do. Until now. Stuart and Kevin have written not just a book, but a survival manual for the 21st century.” – John Philpin “Trust is elusive in our ability to define it – a behaviour, an emotion, gut feeling? When we fail to comprehensively understand how trust is created, grown and maintained, we leave too many valuable relationships and outcomes to chance. This book brings a new perspective, a delightful simplicity and practicality to the subject: a three-stage model of clarity, character and capability coupled with great exercises that mean you are applying your learning with every chapter. We would live in a better world if we could all learn the lessons inside.” – Gill White
