Why Leaders Need a System
I calm waters, instinct is enough to leade the moment. Under pressure, instinct collapses, and habits take over. Your body, your tone, and your decisions follow the patterns you have practiced, whether you intended to or not. If you have not built deliberate habits, you will default to emotional reactions, or learned shortcuts. These will eventually fail you and your team. When a leader has structure, their performance shows this, and their team feels their steadiness even under pressure.
