Troll WIP
Built this skin up in tons of thin, translucent layers instead of one flat tone. I started with warm oranges and translucent pinks to create that living undertone, then glazed in purples and burnt umber to push depth into the wrinkles and creases. From there, I layered multiple skin tones—cool greens, muted browns, subtle reds—to create natural variation, shadows, and highlights.
Everything was darkened overall to frame the bright blue eyes and make them really pop. It’s all about controlled glazing, contrast, and letting each layer show through the next.
