Hello, I am 36, I just found this group yesterday. I don’t have an official diagnosis, but I know from observation and friends that are diagnosed (to whom I am very similar) that I am on the autism spectrum. I have a lot of trouble going out by myself to do simple tasks, like going to the store, or anything really that requires me doing something independently. Just being out in public in general! Does anyone have tips or can relate to this? Thank you!

Hey everyone. My name is Dr. Joe Daly, and I live in Richmond, Virginia. I am 42 years old. I was diagnosed with Autism when I was 32. I didn't even suspect I was on the spectrum until I was 30, so needless to say, my mind was blown when I figured it out. I am a mental health therapist (LPC) with my doctorate in Counseling Psychology. My specialty is helping late diagnosed/undiagnosed adults process and gain insight on their experiences/struggles growing up as neurodivergent in a neurotypical world. I would love to connect with fellow late/undiagnosed neurodivergent adults. That’s why I started this group so we could all have this shared space.
