Just bought and downloaded the hummingbird pattern for my son. He is so excited! It looks so hard, but so much fun.

I bought some walnut and oak logs and decided to make my own boards. I have the equipment. So I sliced the logs, trimmed them to various sizes. I loved the wood grains and darker colors that the walnut produced. Very time consuming for intarsia but this was just as fun as well.

Before and after! Tiled out for easy printing. Grab your pattern in the classroom 🫎 The hardest part for me of this pattern was the trees. I may have skipped a few sections 🤷🏻‍♀️
