The students who improve fastest are rarely the ones with the best grammar.
They're the ones who don't mind sounding a bit ridiculous
They'll forget words. They'll invent words. They'll mix up nouns. (I'm doing it myself while learning Mandarin right now)
And somehow six months later they're having actual conversations while everyone else is still studying.
I genuinely think being comfortable with looking silly is one of the most underrated language-learning skills.
