I want to start things off with a few tips and pointers for learning Spanish with ChatGPT:
- You must have access to ChatGPT's Advanced Voice Mode for this to work. A free ChatGPT account provides only a limited amount of time per day for Advanced Voice Mode (which might work for someone who wants to test this out before committing to a larger subscription plan but won't work for more extensive practice and use). ChatGPT's Plus subscription provides one (1) hour of Advanced Voice Mode per day. This is what I have and think works well. The Plus subscription is about $20 per month (plus tax).
- You must know how to say "How do you say _____?" in Spanish which is "¿Como se dice _____?"
- You must know how to say "What does _____ mean?" in Spanish which is "¿Qué significa _____?"
If you know these two phrases and have access to ChatGPT's Advanced Voice Mode, then you can learn Spanish with ChatGPT!
