Start Here: Welcome to AI for Lawyers
Welcome. I'm glad you're here. This community exists to make AI adoption in legal practice practical and approachable. Whether you're already running workflows or still deciding where to start, the goal is the same: give you prompts, templates, and workflows you can actually use in your work. How this community works Every post is its own self-contained use case. You'll get the problem I was solving, the prompt or template I built, the skill or workflow behind it, and a short video walking through how it comes together. Copy what works, adapt it to your practice, and build from there. The real value, though, comes from the room. The best use cases aren't going to come from any one of us working alone. If you've built something that works, share it. If you're stuck on a use case, post it. If you see a better way to do something I posted, say so. That's how this gets better. Before you go further — introduce yourself below. Drop a comment with: 1. Your name and where you practice (city/state is fine) 2. Your practice area 3. Where you are with AI right now (actively using it, experimenting, or just exploring) 4. One use case you'd love to solve with AI I'll read every intro and reply. Introducing yourself is also how you'll start to find the other members whose practice and interests overlap with yours. One practical note When we talk about use cases here, keep client-identifying details out of your posts and comments. Redact, anonymize, or work from hypotheticals. The prompts and workflows are the product. The underlying facts don't need to travel with them. Treat this space the way you'd treat a CLE panel: substantive, specific, but never at the expense of a client. Looking forward to building this with you. — Ethan
