🚨 Apprentice Reminder – This Matters 🚨
Quick one for all my plumbing & heating apprentices 👇
If you’re losing pressure on a system… don’t just top it up and walk away.
That’s not fixing the problem — that’s hiding it.
This week I came across:
🔧 A leaking auto air vent on a boiler
🔧 A leaking radiator valve (tenant had already noticed it)
Both small issues on their own… but together?
➡️ Constant pressure loss
➡️ System inefficiency
➡️ Bigger problems down the line
This is what separates average from top engineers:
💡 Don’t just do the job — understand the system
đź’ˇ Always ask: *why is this happening?*
💡 Listen to the customer/tenant — they often spot issues early
Anyone can repressurise a system…
But a proper engineer finds the fault and fixes it right đź‘Š
