🔧 Welcome to Plumber World
If you’re here, you’re not trying to be average. Plumber World is a free private community for serious plumbing & heating apprentices who want to level up faster in this trade. Inside here we: • Ask questions •Break down installs •Share real advice • Keep standards high • Respect the trade If you apply what’s shared in here, you won’t just “get through” your apprenticeship — you’ll build confidence and reputation early. 👇 First Things First Comment below: 1️⃣ What year are you in? 2️⃣ What do you struggle with most right now? Be honest. The more active this group is, the more valuable it becomes for everyone. Serious apprentices only.Let’s build this properly. 🔧🔥
🔧 Real Apprentice Situation
You arrive on site and the customer says: “My hot water is working fine, but the heating isn’t coming on.” What are the **first 3 things you check?** Think about: • Thermostat / programmer • Motorised valve • Circulation / pump A lot of heating faults come down to understanding how the system should be operating before you even touch it. What’s your process when you walk into a job like this? 👇
🔥 Apprentice Check-In 🔧
Alright team — quick one for all my plumbing & heating apprentices 👇 If you’re on site this week, I want you focusing on the basics done **properly**, not quickly: ✔️ Clean pipework (no messy cuts or burrs) ✔️ Solid joints (no “that’ll do” fittings) ✔️ Accurate measurements (measure twice, cut once — always) ✔️ Respect the system you’re working on (understand it, don’t just copy) Remember — anyone can rush a job… but not everyone can do it right. The lads who stand out in this trade are the ones who: 💡 Ask questions 💡 Take pride in their work 💡 Learn something new every single day 💬 Drop a comment: What’s ONE thing you’ve improved on this week? Let’s keep levelling up 👊
