NEW TO PEPTIDES? THIS IS A MUST READ: THE ULTIMATE PEPTIDE GUIDE
***RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY***
UPDATE: 10/28/25
Disclaimer:
I created this group as an outlet for research subjects to save money for their research supplies. Everything is DIY (Do It Yourself). Subjects wishing to save money for their weight loss, as well as other optimization peptides, will find everything they need to know in this guide. I am not a resource to replace consultation with your primary care provider. If you have any questions, outside the scope of what I provide here and within the group, please feel free to consult with a health professional.
THESE PRODUCTS ARE INTENDED AS A RESEARCH CHEMICAL ONLY.
This designation allows the use of research chemicals strictly for in vitro testing and laboratory experimentation only. All product information available within this group is for educational purposes only. Bodily introduction of any kind into humans or animals is strictly forbidden by law and is not at all endorsed by this website. This product should only be handled by licensed, qualified professionals. This product is not a drug, food, or cosmetic and may not be misbranded, misused or mislabeled as a drug, food or cosmetic.
With that said, I am happy that you have joined our group! We have a wonderful community of professionals including doctors, nurses, vendor owners, and a growing group of experienced peptide researchers willing to share their experiences. We are all here to help and guide you through the wonderful world of BIOHACKING.
I recommend printing this guide. It contains, basically, anything and everything to make your journey as easy as possible. I have done all the research for you.

Q and A:
What Is a peptide? “The fundamental nature of peptides as the building blocks of proteins, allow for the synthetic and in vitro mimicking of these endogenous substances that regulate specific cellular functions and facilitate an innumerable amount of biochemical processes in the body.”
Are Peptides Safe? “For most healthy people, peptide supplements aren't likely to cause serious side effects. However, supplements aren't tested by the FDA before they're sold, so use caution when you buy and use peptide supplements.”
My personal response to this is, neither is 99% of supplements sold online or in stores. I can tell you from my own personal experience, it works. As long as you follow the guidelines.
Peptides are no different from insulin or Synthroid. Those are synthetic, lab made, hormones. So are peptides. One reason I have no fear of peptides is the fact that the sites listed in the “FEATURED” tab of the group, offer a COA (certificate of analysis) for the peptides they sell. This is a certificate of purity. Meaning that what you purchase is what you get. I guarantee there is no pharmacy on the planet that can offer this for Ozempic (which literally contains propylene glycol aka anti-freeze), Zepbound, Wegovy, etc. Compounded versions included. You have absolutely no idea what is in that little vial they are sending you every month. That’s probably the reason why you’ve been taking doses and doses of these meds and have only lost a few pounds.
Risk Factors: “Some possible side effects of peptide supplements include: Allergic reactions, such as hives, swelling, or difficulty breathing. Itching or swelling at the injection site. Heart problems, such as high blood pressure, fast heart rate, and palpitations (fluttering or pounding heartbeat) Stomach problems, such as nausea, vomiting, constipation and/or diarrhea.”
Although, personally, I have only experienced nausea, vomiting and GI issues when I first began with a compounded Tirzepatide, I have experienced absolutely none of these effects since I have used the pure peptides.
*Please consult your primary care doctor with any questions or concerns. Especially if you have experienced any heart or thyroid problems, past or present.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Where do I begin?
Begin by printing and reading this guide thoroughly. It contains EVERYTHING you need to know.
Is this all do it yourself?
Yes. Everything you need to know is in this guide.
How do I know what to purchase?
Decide if you are planning to use Sema (Semaglutide),Tirz (Tirzepatide), Reta (Retatrutide), or any of the other peps. There is information including reconstitution and dosage guides under the FILES tab at the top of the Facebook group page or the CLASSROOM on the Skool app..
If you are presently taking Sema or Tirz, you can continue with that same dosage. However, you may want to consider starting this at a lower dose. Especially if you’re on a compound as these are comprised of fillers, such as B12, which can alter the effectiveness of the compound.
If you are new to everything or have not taken any GLP-1’s in several months, you would begin on the lowest dosage of Sema or Tirz.
How do I know how much to take?
Refer to the dosage guide for your research pep of choice. These are all listed under the “FILES” tab at the top of the Facebook group page and in the “CLASSROOM” on the Skool app.
How much bacteriostatic water do I use to reconstitute?
Depending on your choice of Tirz or Sema, the reconstitution unit amount is listed at the top of the dosing schedule.
Example: 15mg Tirz + 1.5mL bacteriostatic water
This means you will add 1mL (100 units) + 0.5mLs (50 units) of bacteriostatic water to your 15mg powdered Tirzepatide vial.
Does it matter what time I do my shot?
It does not matter about time of day. However, try to take it on the same day, at the same time. Some peps are specific for am or pm dosing aside from the GLP’s. Please refer to the “PEPTIDE CHEAT SHEET” for more info about this.
Which vendor site is the cheapest?
I am in the process of working on an updated spreadsheet that compares pricing for you. Prices are subject to change without notice.
How long will it take for me to receive my order?
Most sites take less than a week.
Do I have to purchase bacteriostatic water for reconstitution separately?
Some of the sites include water, some do not. Bacteriostatic water is also available on AMAZON.
*DO NOT USE STERILE WATER for peps unless otherwise instructed to do so. This is rare.
Which is better? Sema, Tirz or Reta?
Check out the “FILE” Peptide Hormones For Weight Loss and Their Actions.
How long will a vial last?
That will depend on your dosage milligrams per week. Most lower dosages, a vial will last a month to 6 weeks. Higher dosages, a vial may only last 1-2 weeks.
Instructions For Injections:
Supplies Needed:
-Vial of peptides of your choice
-Vial of bacteriostatic water
-Sterile alcohol prep pads
-31-gauge 5/16" 1ml/cc insulin syringes (Less than $20/100 on Amazon)
If you search “needles” in the group, you should see a link for these.
-Hard plastic resealable container (Sharp’s) to dispose of used needle and syringe

Reading a syringe:
A 1mL syringe is divided into UNITS. There are 100 units, divided into 10 unit increments (the large numbers- 10, 20, 30, etc.). Then, those are divided into 10 unit increments (the smaller lines-without numbers). Each smaller line equals 2 units.
Reconstituting peptides:
Add the recommended amount of bacteriostatic water according to your vial milligram amount.
Add the water very slowly by tilting your vial on its side. The vacuum effect will literally draw the bac water into the vial.
Let the water drip down the side of the powder vial.
Then swirl it gently.
Let peptides sit about 20-30 minutes to allow the peptides to completely dissolve.
Then, swirl again and you'll be set!
Storage instructions below.
Preparing for your Injection:
• Wash your hands with soap and water.
• Gather all the items you need.
• Check the amount of medication to be taken.
Filling the syringe:
1. Mix (swirl gently) the contents of the vial if required.
2. Clean the rubber stopper of the vial with an alcohol swab. Fig 1
3. Unwrap the needle and syringe.
4. Put air into the syringe by pulling down on the plunger of the syringe to the amount of medication to be taken. Fig 2
5. With the vial upright, put the needle into the rubber stopper and inject air into the vial.
6. Turn the vial upside down.
7. Pull back the plunger to beyond the prescribed dose level. Make sure the end of the needle is in the liquid. Allow the liquid peptides to fill the syringe with slightly more than the recommended dosage. It will seem like it is taking forever for the syringe to fill. This is because you are using a tiny needle.
8. Remove the needle from the vial and “flick” the syringe to remove air bubbles with your fingers or a pen.
9. Move the plunger to the prescribed dose level on the syringe to remove any air bubbles.
10. Rest syringe on needle cap or put the needle cover back on the needle.
Injection Sites:
A subcutaneous (SC or subQ) injection deposits medication into the fat tissue below the skin.
You can inject into the:
• abdomen (except for one inch around the navel)
• upper outer area of thighs
• upper outer area of arms or back of arms
The new site should be at least 1-2 inches away from the last injection site.
Ideally, rotate the injection site (Left or Right).
Cleaning the Injection Site:
Wash the area with soap and water or an alcohol swab. Allow the skin to dry.
Subcutaneous (SC) Self-Injection:
1. Pick up the syringe. If needed, remove the needle cover. Hold the syringe with the needle bevel up and push the plunger just slightly so that you can see a drop of liquid at the end of the needle.
2. Pinch your skin and fat tissue with your non dominant (weaker) hand.
3. Hold the syringe in your dominant (stronger) hand, as if holding a pencil, bevel up, one inch above the injection site at a 90-degree angle to the skin. Quickly dart (stab) the needle through the skin into the fat tissue.
4. Use your non-dominant (weaker) hand to slowly push down on the plunger to inject the medication.
5. Pull the needle out of the skin. Press gently on the site with gauze or tissue.
Clean Up:
• Place used drug containers, syringes and needles in a hard-plastic, resealable container.
Storage:
Store reconstitution solution (bacteriostatic water) in the refrigerator OR a cool dry cabinet. I personally have been keeping mine in a cabinet. Store unreconstituted peptide powder in the freezer (long term storage) or room temperature, wrapped in foil, away from light. Once you have reconstituted the peptide powder with reconstitution solution (bacteriostatic water), wrap vial in foil, or store in the original container, away from light, in the refrigerator. Peptides will last weeks to months, if they are mixed correctly and stored away from light in the fridge. Light will degrade the peptides as will vigorously mixing.
Other storage instructions:
Store in a cool, dry, dark place: Peptides should be kept away from bright light and moisture.
Use airtight containers: Store peptides in airtight containers, ideally under vacuum (vials are vacuum sealed).
Control temperature and humidity: Store peptides long term at -20°C to -80°C in a desiccated environment. Short term storage 4°C or colder.
Allow peptides to warm to room temperature before opening: Before opening, allow the peptide to equilibrate to room temperature to reduce moisture uptake. 20-30 minutes is usually sufficient.
Avoid frost-free freezers: Do not store frozen peptide solutions in a frost-free freezer.
