In 1 Samuel 15, Saul thought he improved on God’s instructions by saving the best to sacrifice. But God wasn’t looking for a bigger offering. We oftentimes measure better by impact, optics, and what looks spiritual. GOD measures better by obedience, alignment, and trust. Heaven isn’t impressed with performance. Heaven honors obedience.
