The KID gets offended when challenged. The KID knows what God said but delays obedience. The KID wants the benefits of leadership without the burden of leadership. And when the KID is leading, spiritual leadership suffers. Prayer becomes inconsistent. The Bible stays closed. Conversations stay shallow. The family loses direction. The marriage loses connection. The mission gets delayed. But the KING is different. KING = Know I Need God The KING doesn't lead from pride. The KING leads from surrender. The KING understands that spiritual leadership isn't about having all the answers. It's about seeking God's heart before making decisions. It's about praying even when you don't feel like it. It's about repenting quickly. It's about modeling obedience. It's about going first. Joshua declared: As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15 Notice he didn't say: "As for my wife..." "As for my children..." "As for my circumstances..." He started with ME. That's where every KING Move begins. One thing I’ve been learning deeply: New seasons demand new adjustments. And if The K.I.N.G. doesn't make them intentionally… the K.I.D. will make them unconsciously. ⚠️ K.I.D. Moves in a New Season Look Like: (K.I.D. = Keep Ignoring Disaster) The K.I.D says: - “We’ll figure it out as we go.” 😬 - “We don’t need to talk about expectations.” - “It’ll work itself out.” - “I’ll deal with it later.” - “I know what she means…” (without clarifying) - “I’m too busy to slow down and align.” And what follows? ❌ Assumptions ❌ Friction ❌ Emotional distance ❌ Preventable conflict ❌ Misalignment at home ❌ Pressure where there should be peace That’s how K.I.D. moves sabotage confidence, connection, and covenant. And: “How good and pleasant it is… when brethren dwell together in unity… for there the Lord commands the blessing.”— Psalm 133 ➡️ Where there is unity, God commands His blessing. Not where there is confusion because He has no parts of that.
