๐ŸŽ‰ Day 7 of My Public Dance Journey โ€” First Week Complete!
One full week of dancing in public. No stage. No mirrors. Just me, the music, and whoever happened to walk by. Every day taught me something differentโ€”about confidence, energy, timing, and what it really means to show up when you donโ€™t feel ready. From Lucky to Ocean Eyes, I learned that courage isnโ€™t built before you move; itโ€™s built because you move. And that realization changes everything. This first week might be done, but the journey isnโ€™t. The next phase starts nowโ€”and Iโ€™m taking this momentum straight into deeper work, training, and creativity. โœจ Your Turn Whatโ€™s one area of your dancing or mindset where youโ€™re ready to start showing up more boldly? Drop it below โฌ‡๏ธ ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ And if you want personalized guidance on what your next phase could look like, this is exactly what we work on in private coaching. ๐ŸŒŠ Day 6 of My Public Dance Journey
Track of the day: โ€œOcean Eyesโ€ by Billie Eilish. Day 6 hit a little differently โ€” and not in the hype way. By the time I started, I was tired, hungry, and my body felt heavy. The songโ€™s emotion matched that perfectly, but my movement couldnโ€™t quite open up. Still, thatโ€™s the point of showing up daily โ€” learning not just how to dance, but when your body speaks the loudest. Turns out, Iโ€™m a morning dancer. Thatโ€™s when I feel light, expressive, and fully present. But today reminded me: the win isnโ€™t always in the performance โ€” sometimes itโ€™s in the awareness. โœจ Your Turn When do you feel most creative in your movement? Morning when youโ€™re fresh, or later when lifeโ€™s happened a bit? Drop it below โฌ‡๏ธ
๐Ÿ”ฅ Day 5 of My Public Dance Journey
Day 5 hit different. The song was โ€œThe Way You Moveโ€ by J.Don, and it threw me completely out of my usual groove. My freestyle style leans lyrical and contemporary, so this hip-hop track pushed me into new territory. I felt awkward, exposed, even frustrated at moments. Halfway through, I realized how visible I was โ€” how seen I felt โ€” and it got in my head. But thatโ€™s when the real work started. I didnโ€™t stop. I finished it. And while I didnโ€™t love how it felt in the moment, I walked away proud that I moved through the resistance. Because thatโ€™s what training confidence looks like โ€” not waiting to feel ready, but acting anyway. โœจ Your Turn Whatโ€™s one area in your training thatโ€™s been pushing you outside your comfort zone lately? Comment it below โฌ‡๏ธ ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ And if you want help breaking through those uncomfortable walls faster โ€” thatโ€™s what we dive into in private coaching. DM me if youโ€™re ready to work on that consistency and confidence together.
๐Ÿ”ฅ Day 3 of My Public Dance Journey
Todayโ€™s track: โ€œGorgeousโ€ by Doja Cat.The energy? Light, fun, and creative. Confidence isnโ€™t clean counts, itโ€™s presence. Itโ€™s showing up and letting yourself be seen. I leaned into that today, playing with movement and the editing because the vibe called for it. When I allow myself to fall into creativity like that, it feels like a reset. And thatโ€™s important to remember, not every day has to be serious. Joy and creativity are part of the training too. โœจ Your Turn. If you filmed yourself dancing today, would it be about precision, or would you let it be about play?Comment below โฌ‡๏ธ ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ And if you find it hard to loosen up and let joy show in your dancing, this is exactly the type of work we dig into in private coaching. DM me if you want to explore it.
๐ŸŽถ Day 2 of My Public Dance Journey
Yesterday was deep, soulful, and vulnerable. Today? Pure fun. I picked a playful track by Chloe, quick, upbeat, and full of personality. This one wasnโ€™t about control or technicality. It was about giving myself permission to enjoy the music, laugh, and just vibe in public. That balance matters. Every entry doesnโ€™t need to crack you open. Sometimes the growth is learning to be seen while having fun. โœจ Your Turn Whatโ€™s a track youโ€™d use if your only goal was to play, smile, and let go? Comment it below โฌ‡๏ธ ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ And if you feel like you always end up stiff or too serious when you dance, thatโ€™s exactly what we work on in private coachingโ€”unlocking texture, joy, and presence all at once. DM me if thatโ€™s you.
