Warning on Publishing a Second Edition
I'm recreating some of my books with AI art. And I just published a second edition of a book I published in 2021. Never Snitch on a Witch. The reason, I went for a second edition was to see if AI art would make a stronger impact. My one mistake though was that I put down that it was previously published in 2021 with the hopes that I would retain the 15 reviews I already had. Well the reviews never came over and now it looks like the book has been sitting in Amazon since 2021 with zero sales.
The benefits of "A New Release" is that it gets a little added extra marketing that's done for you. SO I miss out on that. SInce the reviews were the only reason i did this, I think i'm going to take it down and then republish it.
Amazon has traditionally had poor support for these types of matters but I will try to ask them about the reviews. My two options:
Archive it and resubmit it as a new release or just leave it alone...
What would you do?
