Happy Friday! If you are looking to implement some yoga habits into your day, you need something that is QUICK! A quick movement practice, maybe a quick meditation or guided breathwork 😮‍💨. So I've compiled my existing library of 5-minute yoga sessions into a one-stop shop called the QUICK HITS VAULT Check it out in the classroom! I'd love to add more, so let me know what you'd like more of!

As I spend more time in this community, my intentions get more clear. I've updated a couple of things to reflect that and to better articulate the value that this group is building: - Name: Yoga Habits for Self-Care (added "habits" - read about it more in the Start Here course) - Description: Move your body. Quiet your mind. Reclaim your day. Practice quick, easy, and effective yoga habits to keep yourself balanced while achieving goals. - About Page description - Updated the Welcome: Start Here course to share the larger vision for where we're going. I'm working on adding some more things in the classroom, but I'll make a separate post about that. If you get the chance, please check those out and let me know if you have any questions or feedback! I hope I'm conveying my vision clearly, but I'd love to know if it's making sense and aligns with your intention to be in this group. Community Updates! January 16!
Happy Friday! Here is the latest on what’s going on in this group! (Check out the video below, or here are the highlights👇) Recent Live Workshop Replays: - 2025 Guided Reflection  - 2026 Vision Cast + Year Planning  Starting Next Week: LIVE Yoga here in the community! - I’ve been experimenting with teaching yoga live online via YouTube this past week. So starting next week, I’ll be offering LIVE online yoga via YouTube & in this community.  WHY both? - YouTube is a great place to be introduced to more potential students who might want to join this community, so it gives me a little more exposure to help me grow as an online yoga teacher.  BUT I WANT THIS GROUP TO BE SPECIAL - Sure, someone can follow along on YouTube, either live or as a replay.  - But this group will be where someone can go to join our community and get MORE support.  SO WHAT DOES THAT “MORE SUPPORT” LOOK LIKE? - Well, I’d love to hear what you’d like receive?  But let me back up just a minute… Over the past couple weeks, I’ve been trying to get clear on the vision and purpose of this community. - Sure… I want a place to create a connection with like-minded friends on the path of yoga to prioritize our self-care - And of course… I want a place to go deeper into yoga so we can learn more about moving our bodies, connecting with our minds, and supporting our nervous systems….  But what IS “yoga for self-care”? - That’s a great question! You deserve to know how I define that so you can understand what to expect from me as a yoga teacher (and decide if this is a place you want to be… totally fair).  So Here is how I define YOGA FOR SELF-CARE - Yoga is a holistic practice of movement, breath, and mindfulness to: - nurture your physical, mental, and emotional well-being,  create a dedicated space to reconnect, de-stress, build self-compassion, and  - develop resilience for daily life, going beyond just exercise to restore inner balance and self-awareness.

Hello beautiful people! This group is still new and growing, but I'm kicking things into gear and working hard to grow this community so we have even more fellow mindful parents and professionals to join us in our self-care journey and support system. 💫 Couple Updates to the Group: 1. I updated the Group Name to "Yoga for Self-Care." This group name is a little more self-explanatory about what to expect to achieve when you join! 2. I updated the Group Description to: A place for busy parents and stressed-out professionals who strive for balance between practicing self-care and achieving our ambitious goals. It's a work in progress, but I think this captures who we're attracting and what we're trying to achieve. Schedule for this week! Click HERE to view the calendar and save these events in your own calendar Tuesday 1 PM PT - LIVE Training: Foundations of Mindfulness - LIVE Free Training to learn the foundations of Mindfulness and how this powerful, yet simple, practice of awareness without judgment can transform how you think about yourself and others. Learn how to be the role model of zenful thinking among those you love and support. Wednesday 10 AM PT - LIVE 15-Minute Chair Yoga - Move your body from the comfort of your chair at home or at the office. - Join me LIVE for 15 minutes of chair yoga for a mental and body break that you don't need to change your clothes for. Give yourself a much-needed break in the middle of your day! We won't be having a Coffee Chat on Friday as I'll be helping host the Jog-a-thon fundraiser at my son's school.
