It makes logical sense to follow the theory of business, where I offer a service for a fixed price that you pay. However, when it comes to practice, the way business actually works is different. Depending on your clients' budget and the stage of your business, you may need to modify your rates. Theoretically, you might believe that you are the only business in town, but in reality, there are numerous businesses that operate under various rules and pricing systems. As Bruce Lee famously stated, you should be adaptable like water, and adjust yourself to the market conditions to set appropriate prices.
