🎉 Welcome in! I'm JC Jimenez, co-founder of Job Judo. If you came in from the website, you already know the pitch.. apply less, choose more, the math is multiplicative. If you didn't, the short version is this: every job application moves through four stages, and small style improvements at each stage compound into **10× more offers**. That's the methodology. The whole curriculum is built on it. This community is the engine that makes the methodology real. The curriculum gives you the system. The **Hunting Pack** your group of peers running the search alongside you. This gives you the accountability, leads, and feedback that solo searches never get. --- 3️⃣ Three things to do this week 1. Reply to this post with your introduction. Three lines: - Your name and school year - The one career field you're targeting in the most specific terms you can ("investment banking summer analyst at a bulge bracket," not "business") - One thing you've tried that didn't work The third line matters. It's how the rest of us know where to help. 2. Open Module 01 in the classroom. ~45 minutes total. The most important lesson in there is the one on **Attempts are not Failures.** Without that reframe, the rest of the methodology won't stick when rejection arrives. And rejection always arrives. 3. Find your Hunting Pack. Browse the introductions, find 3–4 members targeting similar fields or in similar stages of their search, and DM them. Five of you running the search together is worth more than fifty of you running it alone. --- Community norms Be specific. "I need help with my resume" gets fewer good answers than "I'm a junior targeting marketing internships at CPG companies. Here's my current resume and the job posting I'm applying to." Share named stories. Real student examples beat generic advice. If you got an interview, tell us the company. If you got an offer, tell us how you got the Sponsor in. Specificity helps the next person. Be a good Hunting Pack member. Reply to other people's intros. Share a script that worked. Celebrate someone else's win. The community works when everyone gives a little, not when everyone takes a lot.
