You will hear this a lot in fitness and read it a lot on my pages. It’s the key to sustainable health, wellbeing, and fitness. Progressive overload is what drives proper adaptation and keeps you injury free through your fitness journey. By not having great increases in intensity or weight load or endurance bouts you lessen the risk of hurting yourself or running in to overwhelming fatigue or CNS stress ✅When running, utilizing no more than a 10% increase each week in mileage is the proper progression to keep the risk of injury down.
