Merry Christmas happy new year
Merry Christmas to the life I’m living
the one I once only prayed for in quiet moments
the one that found me when I was tired
and taught me what whole really feels like
My husband so amazing so bright
a light beside me steady and warm
the man who feels like home
who makes ordinary days feel holy
who reminds me love can be gentle and strong at the same time
My beautiful kids
my laughter my purpose my heart walking around outside my chest
their voices fill the rooms with magic
their hugs heal parts of me I didn’t know still ached
I look around and realize
I am not missing anything
I am not chasing anything
I am standing inside everything I’ve ever wanted
This Christmas I am grateful
this New Year I am complete
my life is beautiful
because love lives here
and I finally feel whole
