Local first approach
As I build Gextron for trading, speed is important.
What I'm building here is different.
✅ Real-time updates streamed directly from the server
✅ Local storage so you can instantly access your data, even offline
✅ Automatic background syncs to keep everything consistent behind the scenes
Imagine this:
You pull up your dashboard in the morning and your most recent tickers, option flow, and trade history are already sitting there – no loading spinner, no waiting for an API call
When something changes on the server (a new alert or updated support and resistance levels), the app gets pushed a notification and your data updates automatically, whether or not you have the app open.
This is a future I like.
  • Faster workflows
  • Less friction
  • No anxiety about stale data or missed signals
it's a small technical detail with HUGE impact: when your tools feel effortless, you make better decisions and stay focused on execution.
Anyways, here's the thread that started me with this approach: Click here to see post.
