In Japanese, we use で to say by (transport).
Pattern:
Place に Transport で 行きます
Examples:
バスで行きます。
Basu de ikimasu.
I go by bus.
電車で行きます。
Densha de ikimasu.
I go by train.
車で行きます。
Kuruma de ikimasu.
I go by car.
✅ Beginner
先生の車はこわれています。
Sensei no kuruma wa kowarete imasu.
Sensei’s car is broken.
ちょっといらいらします。
Chotto iraira shimasu.
It’s frustrating.
駅に歩いて行きます。
Eki ni aruite ikimasu.
I walk to the station.
仕事この辺に電車で行きます。
Shigoto no hen ni densha de ikimasu.
I go to the area of my work by train.
バスで仕事に行きます。
Basu de shigoto ni ikimasu.
I go to work by bus.
バスで本を読みます。
Basu de hon o yomimasu.
I read on the bus.
それはいいです。
Sore wa ii desu.
That’s good.
✅ Advanced Version
先生の車が壊れてしまい、少し不便で困っています。
そのため、最近はバスで仕事に通っています。
通勤中に本を読めるので、それはそれで良い時間になっています。
大変ですが、前向きに考えるようにしています。
