Motherhood can become so full of schedules, responsibilities, appointments, work, meals, school, activities, and making sure everyone else is okay that sometimes the woman underneath “Mom” gets pushed to the side. So I want to start our Mom Talk with a question just for you: What is something you used to love doing before life got so busy that you would love to make space for again? Maybe it’s reading. Getting dressed up. Traveling. Painting. Going out with friends. Dancing. Writing. Sleeping in. 😂 Or simply having time to think. There’s no right answer. Tell us yours below. 💕

I am so happy you’re here. I created this community because raising girls comes with a million little questions: What can we do this weekend? How do I keep her engaged while I’m working? How do I get her to open up to me? Are there any affordable programs near us? How do I teach her the things I want her to know before she grows up? And sometimes…we simply need another mom to ask. It Takes a Village is a space for resources, ideas, opportunities, connection, and real community for moms raising growing girls. You’ll find tools for your daughter, resources for you, activities you can do together, local and virtual opportunities, and other moms who may know exactly what you’re looking for.
