TradingView - REPLAY MODE - Can't place Stop Loss Order at right levels
Anyone run into not being able to put stop loss orders at right level. This is in replay mode. It says "stop loss must be above current ask", which makes sense. However, looks like TradingView is not using the price of the historical playback bar (I'm doing this Dec 12, 2025). Instead, it's using actual current price in Jan 10, 2026. If I drag it above the current price, I can place the stop loss order. See a few screenshots - my stop loss cannot be placed (exclamation mark). DOM window shows actual current price in 2026.
Is there a setting I need to change? or do something differently? Or am I not doing something right?
Follow up question - what's the best practice to exercise trading in historical? Do you let it replay go and place trades actual trades? Or do you just click Bar Forward and write/mark up your entries and exit in the spreadsheets?
Thanks in advance!
