Hey gang, hope the trading is going well. Like many of you, I suffer a lot with overtrading and trading impulsively. I've been thinking of this recently and I came to the revelation that NOT trading is a skill that needs to be honed just as much as trading itself. Many times, after I get a big win or after a series of losses, I'll get "possessed" and keep trading impulsively. This is how I came to realize that stopping trading is a real skill that needs to be honed (just like trading skills need to be honed). Not trading isn't simply "doing nothing," it's a conscious and deliberate action. And if you're like me, stopping trading at the right time can be the decision that protects your profits. Just something I thought of that I wanted to share. All the best!
