So last week or the week before I had a stop loss that got surpassed by a big move, wound up losing about double what my stop was. Figured paper trading, what have you could be a glitch. Or maybe because of this big move it just can’t get out right where you set, which I assume is the way it could normally work. Today, I had a short set in my plan area with a profit target of about 500-550 and I took it after the criteria was met. Just so happened, as I was actually negative letting it ride, a big move happened in the right direction and surpassed my profit target. It went down and I was trying to exit the trade, and TV kept telling me it couldn’t execute the order. I was happy with where it was at this time but didn’t want to lose out! Finally was able to get out at 2600 profit. I’ll take it! But has something like this happened to others?
