Discouraged. UPDATE! ENCOURAGED :)

I must be executing wrong and plan to go back through the videos (again). Trying to focus on Jedi moves. Several times this week I set these up with plan prior to open and price never makes it back in. As you can see, didn't take out trend highs or lows so I didn't look for new supply or demand on the 1h. Waiting for those lines to be crossed. (Pic 1)

Am I chasing trades if I get into the 5m and find new demand or supply? (Pic 2) First one would have been a winner, correct?
