Not that I necessarily follow trends, but certain cultural trends support the concept of Intuitive Creativity.
*Somatic practices (utilize body-based techniques—such as grounding, gentle movement, and breathwork—to shift from a stress response to a state of safety and calm).
*Intuitive Living (living in alignment with your own values and developing a deep sense of self-worth)
*Creative wellness (the nurturing and rediscovery of personal expression—such as painting, writing, dancing, or cooking—as a way to improve mental well-being, reduce burnout, and foster a deeper connection to oneself and the surrounding world).
*Art as healing, not performance.
Most of the time, these trends or concepts are marketed to much younger women. However, we as older women are claiming a space where a mature woman's wisdom, lived experience and emotional depth and values are the point--not seen as an obstacle.
Intuitive U promotes the abandonment that a child has when drawing or painting, whether with a crayon, their fingers, or a paint brush. It is not a class, it's an outlet. It's not neat, but messy fun. Most importantly, Intuitive U is a shared community experience and a creative, judgement free sanctuary. That said, let's gather inside Intuitive U and have a moment together.
